EP 85W-140 HEAVY DUTY EXTREME PRESSURE GEAR OIL
HD EP GEAR OILS are multi-purpose, extreme pressure gear oils that meet the requirements of API gear oil classification GL-5, and Military Specification, MIL-PRF-2105E.
EP GEAR OILS are multi-purpose gear oils that are formulated with high quality base oils, and additives to provide excellent load carrying ability, EP properties, wear resistance, oxidation stability, anti-rust and anti-corrosion qualities, and anti-foam protection.
EP GEAR OILS are recommended for make-up and complete refill of most passenger car and light truck conventional differentials, transmission, and steering gears.
EP GEAR OILS are multi-purpose, extreme pressure gear oils that are now considered thermally stable and will provide transmission, differential and other application protection beyond that specified for the current MIL-PRF-2105E, API GL-5 requirements. This thermal stability extends oil service life, and reduces critical component wear.
